2026 Grand prix open water challenge
about the series
Our current line-up of races creates an exciting series for swimmers of all abilities. Rules, scoring, and awards remain the same in 2026. Register for the races as they become available, and off you go! If you swim any event, you’re automatically in the Grand Prix, and you must swim at least 2 events to qualify for awards.
Swimmers compete in short, medium and long distance categories, and points are awarded for first through tenth place finishes. Point totals accumulate throughout the series.
Awards will be given for full series participation and for 1st through 3rd place high point totals in each distance category.
